Take some time to feed your soul daily.

Value the Virtues that Build Good Character

Scripture memory is meditation and what we meditate upon we become. “But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” [Psa 1:2-3 NKJV]

Virtues reflect our core values, but they go beyond abstract thought to demand action. They are habits of the mind, the heart, and the soul. Practical virtues are hands-on, useful, and applicable to daily life. We don’t merely read about and ponder practical virtues; they must be practiced and exercised, like flexing a spiritual muscle.
